OnOffice live ‘Future of the Workplace’ interview with Ineke Hans
Hitch Mylius and OnOffice magazine invite you to an interview with Dutch furniture designer Ineke Hans (Ahrend, Offecct, Cappellini, Magis, Hitch Mylius), conducted by OnOffice editor Helen Parton.
The interview will focus on the results of Hans’ 2016 research salons, investigation the future of the workplace. These round-table conversations, hosted by Hans, with contributions from Luke Pearson & Tom Lloyd, Tord Boontje, Industrial Facility and Benjamin Hubert, explored topics including ‘New Approaches for Workspaces’, ‘Furniture & Shifting Means of Production’ and ‘The Domestification of the Workspace’.

Artist in residence
For Clerkenwell Design Week, street artist Xenz will transform one of the Malmaison hotel’s bedrooms and hallways, by painting the space. We invite you to view the room any day of CDW, from 1 – 6pm, and if you RSVP you can meet Xenz on the Thursday, where he will be working live.
Xenz started out as an artist in the late 80s spraying walls of derelict warehouses in Hull. Nowadays his work can be found all over the world. He became recognised for his opulent wildlife scenes that conjure fantasies of a lost paradise with exotic flowers, birds and butterflies.
Recently commissioned to decorate the lifts, rooms and lobby of London’s boutique hotel Malmaison, Xenz’s artistic vine is growing. Referencing Enid Blyton’s The Magic Far Away Tree as an influence, Xenz invites you to explore the ideas behind his urban scrawl with special access to one of the bedrooms in which the artist will also install a pop up exhibition of his studio work.
