Timothée Mion

Biography

Originally from the South of France, Mion came to London to study for a BA in Product Design at Central St Martins, graduating in 2014. Having gained experience at companies such as Hermès, Dalziel & Pow and Chauhan Studio, Mion states that his starting point for designing comes from strong insights that give the product a reason to exist; a meaningful story. While creating a bridge between graphic design and product design, he shows great attention to detail and a real care and understanding for materials, technology and manufacturing processes.

Mions’ hm221 level is the outcome of a project set by Hitch Mylius for final year students at Central St Martins in 2014; this year, it was awarded the Design Guild Mark.
