Project
Rafael Vinoly Architects were appointed to design the mathematical institute. With informal gathering spaces, the atrium stretches nearly the entire length of the building to encourage collaboration; enabling visual connections and impromptu meetings between faculty members on all floors. Forza Interiors specified hm34 sofas and hm51 drum stools in Bute Argyll and special hm18 tables with whiteboard marker tops encouraging students and tutors alike to collaborate and work on ideas in an informal setting.
